Comment on Key Stakeholders Gathered at WTIA, USBC, and GBBC Roundtable to Deliberate the Future of Blockchain Innovation by Steve LeMay https://www.washingtontechnology.org/key-stakeholders-gathered-at-wtia-usbc-and-gbbc-roundtable-to-deliberate-the-future-of-blockchain-innovation/#comment-45940 Sat, 06 Apr 2024 22:05:00 +0000 https://www.washingtontechnology.org/?p=118292#comment-45940 Hi, I have a few startups in the Web3, Decentralized Identity and blockchain data governance space, and I am partnered with great data scientists , building products like our social media consolidation and Generative AI app, called TymeBoxx (https://datamotus.ai/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/TymeBoxx-Product-Summary-and-DID-Open-AI-Potential.pdf).
We have a lot of value to add to the conversation of blockchain technology and working with WA state officials, in terms of building day-1 governance and compliance technology infrastructures (for businesses, public sector) and citizens (with DIDs; data privacy laws like HIPAA, CCPA, My Health My Data Act of WA state, etc. al built in: guaranteeing their data sovereignty). Please see the links below from a few different deliverables from our main site, Social Change Platforms, to learn more. This shows how you can build Democracy-as-a-Product solutions, turn your tax dollars into an investment and generally create a much more inclusive democracy and technology infrastructure that supports Digital City concepts of the future, creating Sovereign Wealth Funds for communities of color, create a Reparations AI initiative, and more.

Comment on 26 Tech Startups Selected for Fourth WTIA Founder Cohort by Paul Brown https://www.washingtontechnology.org/26-tech-startups-selected-for-fourth-wtia-founder-cohort/#comment-45394 Fri, 06 Jan 2023 03:58:57 +0000 https://www.washingtontechnology.org/?p=105003#comment-45394 I only ever played the super popular games, but some of these look really unique and fun. Basically, my dad still had a Super Nintendo from a while back, and I got into it. He only ever had like seven games; Super Metroid, Mega Man X, Chrono Trigger, Link to the Past, Castlevania, Earthbound and Super Mario World. At least, those are the ones that still worked. Anyway, if I were born like a decade earlier I think I would’ve enjoyed the more obscure games out there. Great list, though.

Comment on SECURE Act 2.0: What This Pending Legislation Means for Small Business Retirement Plans by Heather Trestrail https://www.washingtontechnology.org/secure-act-2-0-what-this-pending-legislation-means-for-small-business-retirement-plans/#comment-45258 Fri, 24 Jun 2022 23:51:11 +0000 https://www.washingtontechnology.org/?p=110980#comment-45258 In reply to Mike.

There is a chance that Congress will pass a bill this year aimed at improving the United States retirement system; however, it will look different from what cleared the House last March in a form reconciled between the House and the Senate. The Senate committee passed its version on June 14. If it does become law, it is forecasted to be attached to a budget bill closer to the end of the year. Much can change by then, but depending on the budget impact that will be a factor, since it’s non-partisan, it may have a good chance to become law by the end of the year.
